The French national team qualified for the final of the football competition in the Olympic Games Paris 2024 after defeating its Egyptian counterpart 3-1, to set a date with the Spanish national team, which qualified at the expense of the Moroccan national team.

The match ended in regular time with a 1-1 draw for both teams, with Egypt taking the lead through Mahmoud Saber in the 62nd minute, before Jean-Philippe Mateta equalized for France in the 82nd minute.
