The Yemeni government has reiterated its call to the international community and the Security Council to provide assistance in finding possible ways to resume oil and gas exports as a crucial step towards achieving stability and economic recovery.

Minister al-Aghbari discusses with GIZ means implementing Good Governance Project

Minister of Local Administration Hussein al-Aghbari discussed Tuesday through visual communication with Representatives of German Agency for Development or (GIZ) mechanisms and programs of implementing Enhancing Good Governance Project, Transparency and Accountability.
The Project is set to be implemented in governorates of Hadhramout, Aden and Taiz.
Al-Aghbari confirmed importance of implementing programs and projects supporting youth and women and including them in the development process of the local authorities and their administrative units, praising the significant German role towards Yemen.
For their part, the German officials praised efforts of the ministry in providing necessary facilitations and solving challenges facing activities of the international organizations in implementing their humanitarian and development projects in Yemen.
