Prime Minister Dr. Ahmed bin Mubarak has confirmed the government's full support for the decisions the Central Bank of Yemen (CBY) has taken recently to protect the banking system from the unilateral and destructive measures that the terrorist Houthi militias have embarked on over the past years to divide the banking system.
Bin Mubarak convened a meeting of the management of the CBY today, Sunday, devoted to review the CBY's recent decisions that aimed to protect the banking system.
The Prime Minister reiterated the government's support for the CBY's independence, policies, plans and actions to maintain the national currency, sustain the economic stability.
The Governor of the CBY Ahmed Ghalib reaffirmed that the CBY's recent decisions are Yemeni-made, entirely economic and monetarily oriented, have nothing to do any regional or international events.
Ghalib has asserted that the CBY's decisions are being implemented according to the designed executive plan.
