Real Madrid, champion of the European Champions League, announced it has awarded French player Kylian Mbappe a five-season contract in a free transfer deal after the end of his contract with Paris Saint-Germain.

Real Madrid said on its website in a statement that it had reached an agreement with striker Mbappe for a period of 5 seasons, pointing out that it had strengthened its ranks with a global star who achieved his best seasons with Paris Saint-Germain (44 goals) and was the top scorer in the French League in the last six years.
