The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates has expressed the Republic of Yemen’s strong condemnation and denunciation of the Iranian attacks targeting the sisterly Kingdom of Bahrain, describing them as a blatant violation of Bahrain’s sovereignty, security, stability, and the safety of its people.

Water minister, Dutch officials discuss cooperation in water sector

Minister of Water and Environment Eng. Tawfiq al-Sharjabi held discussions with a Dutch delegation led by the Director of the Middle East and North Africa office at the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs Marc Gerritsen and the Dutch Ambassador to Yemen Jeannette Seppen on the relations of cooperation between Yemen and the Kingdom of the Netherlands mainly in the water sector.

They conferred on the challenges facing the water sector and the implemented projects, as well as the mutual effort to deal with the repercussions of the Safer oil tanker and the threats posed by the sinking of the ship “Rubymar” to sea environment.

Minister Al-Sharjabi touched referred to his ministry’s efforts to address the challenges it faces with respect to water, including the road map to solve the water problem in the city of Aden, and the ongoing arrangements to organize a meeting next October to address seawater desalination in the city.
