The Chief of the General Staff, Commander of Joint Operations (Lt Gen) Sagheer bin Aziz held talks today, Saturday, with the Head of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the Jordanian Forces Maj.

General Yousef Huneiti over joint cooperation and coordination between the two brotherly countries in the military and security fields to further promote maritime security and combating terrorism.

General Aziz highly praised the Jordanian support for the Yemeni armed forces, particularly in the areas of training and capacity building, underlining the need to further broaden Yemeni-Jordanian collaboration.

The conversations also touched upon the latest developments in the Yemeni national arena, regional and international stages of common interests.
