Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jasem al-Budaiwi reiterated the GCC's stance in support of the internationally recognized government to bring the Yemeni crisis to its end through political settlement that based on the three well-known terms of the peace references, including the GCC's Initiative, its executive mechanism, outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference and the UNSCR 2216.
Al-Budaiwi made his statement during his talks today, Monday, at the HQ of the GCC in Saudi capital Riyadh with the Special Envoy of the UN Secretary General to Yemen Hans Grundberg.
Al-Budaiwi and Grundberg discussed the latest developments in Yemen and the UN's ongoing efforts aiming to resume the political process to reach a political settlement to the Yemeni crisis.
