General al-Zubaidi receives supreme military, security committee

Member of the Presidential Leadership Council General Aidrus al-Zubaidi received on Sunday here the Head of the Supreme Military and Security Committee General Haitham Qasem Taher and members of the committee.

General al-Zubaidi received a briefing from General Haitham Qasem on the progress of the committee's work and its accomplishments in terms of organizing and coordinating the armed forces and security, as well as coordinating security and combat tasks among various military and security forces.

The committee also conducted field visits to assess the military situation in different regions, battlefronts, and fronts.

General al-Zubaidi also listened to the efforts exerted by the committee's president and members in implementing the tasks outlined in their action plan for the upcoming period.

He emphasized the importance of doubling efforts to organize the ranks of the combat and security forces and enhance their readiness on all fronts to confront any risks that threaten the security and stability of the liberated areas.

During his discussions with the committee's president and members, al-Zubaidi stressed the great national responsibility placed on their shoulders.

He expressed his appreciation for all the efforts made by the committee in organizing the military and security forces and unifying their leadership to achieve integration in security and combat operations.

He also reiterated the support of the Presidential Council for the committee's efforts and pledged to provide all necessary facilitations to enable it to fulfill its assigned tasks to the fullest.

In turn, the committee's president and members expressed their deep gratitude and appreciation to General al-Zubaidi for his supportive stance towards the committee, his continuous follow-up on its work, and his constant initiative to overcome all the difficulties it faces.
