Yemen participated today in the 27th session of the General Conference of the Arab Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO), held in Jeddah, of Saudi Arabia.
Yemen's participating delegation was led by Minister of Education, the Chairman of the National Committee for Education, Culture and Science, Tariq al-Akbari. In a keynote speech, Minister al-Akbari emphasized the importance of the ALECSO's role in the fields of education, culture and scientific research.
The minister laid special emphasis on the need to intensify efforts to face the various challenges and enable the organization to assume its role to the fullest.
