MANAMA - SABA
His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) reiterated Yemen's Ironclad and steadfast support for the Palestinian people and its legitimate struggle for establishing its independent and intact sovereign state.
Speaking at the 33rd Session of Arab Summit that kicked-off its discussions today, Thursday, in the Bahrain capital Manama he said" The Republic of Yemen on this podium reiterates its steadfast supportive stance in support of the Palestinian people's legitimate rights and fair cause that always has been and it will continue to be the Yemeni people's central cause even though amid the war-circumstances that have been imposed by the Iranian-regime backed Terrorist Houthi militias".
The President stressed that the unity of the Palestinian factions and forces under leadership of the Palestinian Liberation Organization is the best guarantee to bolster the Palestinian resistance and ensure its effectiveness.
His Excellency noted that the ordeal the Palestinian people has been experiencing for the seventh month has proved that Arab solidarity and effective diplomacy is the ideal approach to counter the racism, despotism and occupation forces that have to resort excessive violence to avoid facing the truth whenever there are good chances to make fair and comprehensive peace.
President al-Alimi viewed the convening of two Arab Summits about the Palestinian cause within six months a significant signal to the strong support to Palestinian people's struggle and an evidence of the commitment of the Arab peoples and governments to defend the Palestinians' legitimate rights.
In this context, the Chairman of the PLC highly appreciated the significant efforts of the Ministerial Committee which created by Arab-Islamic Summit led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia that managed to unprecedented international solidarity with the Palestinian people, including the historic resolution of the UN General Assembly that has approved the qualification of Palestine to have the full membership of the international organization.
President al-Alimi stressed that it is very important to differentiate between the official and responsible stances and efforts of advocacy that are aiming to find out genuine solutions to the Palestinian people's cause and between those opportunistic endeavors seek to capitalize on the Palestinian's ordeal to achieve expansion political gains in the region and to claim illusionary heroisms that contribute to no good but damages to the Arab peoples' interests, economies and national security, while diverting international attention away from the Israeli occupation's hell in the Palestinian territories.
In this regard, President al-Alimi highlighted the practices of the Terrorist Houthis militias that have continued to escape the peace and refuse to pay the government employees' salaries, opt to war option, bragging about targeting oil facilities and international shipping lanes, which actually badly affected the Palestinian cause, turning it into a source of threat to the region and the world, while it has always been an inspirational cause for struggle for freedom and peace.
The Chairman of the PLC has warned that the dangers associate to these militias won't only end up in threatening the international shipping lanes and freedom of navigation but also in destabilizing the region's security and stability, spoiling any chance to develop Arab countries and exchange benefits.
He said" I'm fully aware of all concerns that some people are cautious about and avoid to criticize any action against the Israeli occupation forces, but I'm here talking about a rogue group of our people, does not have any moral record to be qualified to defend fair causes such as the Palestinian cause, this group has caused slaughtering more than half million of our people, displaced over four millions more, besieged cities, confiscated properties, bombed worship Houses and homes, engulfed the country in the world's worst humanitarian crisis".
The President went on saying" When it comes to talk about the dangers of lacking Arab collective action it is enough to learn from the Yemeni case, to know how can terrorist militias inflict extremely huge damage to the region and the entire world, when one single Arab country is left vulnerable to external interventions that are hostile to Arab nation, its identity and national state".
President al-Alim asserted that " Unless we stop make our fateful issues subjected to temporary deals with our adversaries, the danger will overwhelms our countries one after another".
He made it clear that Arab countries have no other choice to counter their common challenges but to jointly resist the scheme targeting the Arab national states, deter the Iranian interventions in their internal affairs through its proxy militias.
