Minister of Local Administration Hussein al-Aghbari held a meeting Sunday with representatives of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) to discuss projects and development programs aimed at rehabilitating the infrastructure of local authorities and their executive offices.
During the meeting, al-Aghbari, along with the ministry's Undersecretary for the Local Financial Resources and Financing Sector, Awadh Mashbah, emphasized the government's commitment to implementing and ensuring the success of the projects and programs being carried out by UN organizations in Yemen, and contributing to creating a developmental environment for local authorities.
He also praised the important role played by the UNDP towards Yemen.
For their part, the representatives of the UNDP presented a number of technical reports and strategic plans for upcoming periods to implement the projects.
