Charged' Affairs of the Embassy of the Republic of Yemen to Sofia, Bulgarian, Ambassador Ahmed Shamer met today, Thursday, with the Advisor and Special Secretary of the President of the Republic of Bulgaria for External Political Affairs Ambassador Rossi Ivanov.
Yemeni-Bulgarian bilateral relations and cooperation was key focus of the discussions.
They elaborately conferred over the latest developments in Yemen, mainly regional and international ongoing efforts aiming to make peace .
Shamer celebrated the historic friendship and relationship between the two countries, underscoring the importance of activating joint governmental panel for the economic, scientific and technological collaboration and enforcing the joint cooperation agreements.
The Bulgarian official has confirmed his country's support for the Yemeni government's efforts to restore the state's institutions, re-establish security, stability and peace in Yemen.
Ivanov also affirmed Bulgaria's support for the UN-led efforts and EU good offices to create real peace opportunities to establish permanent peace in Yemen and the region.
