The Presidential Council discussed a number of proposals and reports presented by the Chairman of the Council and its members regarding some delayed obligations and additional assessments of the executive performance during the past period, and the extent of commitment to the Council's decisions, recommendations, and directives at various levels.

The meeting emphasized the strict adherence to regulations and legal systems, the adoption of principles of good governance, justice, and equal opportunities in all state institutions to achieve the public interest and enhance the effectiveness, transparency, and integrity of government agencies, and their ability to confront challenges and alleviate the suffering of citizens worsened by the terrorist Houthi militia attacks on oil facilities and international shipping lines.

Meanwhile, the Presidential Council expressed its great pride and appreciation for the anniversary of Operation Decisive Storm launched by the Arab Coalition for Supporting Legitimacy, led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates on March 26, 2015, in response to the fraternal and Arab duty against the terrorist Houthi militia agenda, which has imposed its ongoing war on the Yemeni people with the support of the Iranian regime.

In another context, the Presidential Council welcomed the decision of the United Nations Security Council calling for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza during the blessed month of Ramadan.

The council expressed hope that this decision and all regional and international efforts leading to ending the brutal war against the Palestinian people, achieving their aspirations for establishing their independent state, and bringing peace and stability to the region.
