Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council Dr. Rashad al-Alimi sent Monday congratulation cable to Russian President Vladimir Putin on the occasion of re-electing him for new presidential term.

President al-Alimi expressed best wishes on his behalf and on behalf of members of the Presidential Leadership Council to president Putin, hoping him success in his presidential tasks and hoped more progress and development to friendly Russian people.

President al-Alimi praised Russian firm position towards the Yemeni people and their constitutional legality.

He also commended historical relations between the two friendly countries and their promising horizons.
