Baggash meets with Charged' Affairs of Chinese embassy in Yemen

Under-Secretary of Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Mansour Baggash received today, Monday, Charged' Affairs of the embassy of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Yemen Chu Ch'ing.

They conferred over Yemeni-Chinese bilateral relations, developments in Yemen, international efforts to establish peace, security and stability in Yemen.

The terrorist Houthi militias' continuing attacks on the international shipping lanes and commercial ships were also touched upon.

The Chinese diplomat confirmed China's support for the internationally recognized Yemeni government, calling for immediate cessation of the Houthi militias' escalatory operations in the Red Sea.

He stated that China is keenly seeking to further bolster bilateral relations and cooperation with Yemen.

He said" The People's Republic of China supports the unity and stability of Yemen and its territorial integrity, and it supports all efforts aiming to make peace in Yemen, end the Yemeni people's suffering".
