Al-Mahrami: Health services need to be improved, made available

Member of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) Abdul Rahman al Mahrami stressed the urgency for multiplying efforts and communications with the international organizations and donors to mobilize support for health sector.

" Efforts must be multiplied to secure the needed resources to develop health facilities to improve medical services and made them available in different governorates", he said.

He give his directives during his meeting today, Wednesday, in the interim capital Aden, with the leadership of the Ministry of Public Health and Population.

Al-Mahrami urged the Ministry to keep closely monitoring the public and private-owned medical facilities' actions, medicines warehouses and control medicines smuggling.

He reiterated the PLC's support for the Ministry of Public Health to improve health care and medical services.
