His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, extended heartfelt best wishes to all Yemeni women on the International Women's Day, March 8, this year 2024 celebrated under the theme " Invest in Women: Accelerating Progress, Development".

His Excellency wrote on his account on X :" On the International Women' Day, I extend my sincere best wishes to Yemen's women who proved active presence throughout different stages including resisting war's tough circumstances, protecting our country's identity and social fabric and future of its coming generations".

The President reiterated the commitment of the PLC and the Government to keep on working hard to improve living conditions of the Yemeni family, empower women, effectively engage them in the decision making process, restoring the state's institutions and establishing peace and development.
