Ambassador of the Republic of Yemen to Tokyo Adel al-Sunaini met today, Thursday, with the Japanese government's representative for international peace and security ambassador Tsu Tsumi Nao Hiro.

They conferred over Yemeni-Japanese bilateral relations and peace efforts in Yemen
Al-Sunaini updated the Japanese official on the UN-led efforts, affirming the Yemeni government's commitment to support the UN's good offices to establish peace based on the agreed on terms of the peace references.

Al-Sunaini greatly praised the Japanese government's support for the internationally Yemeni recognized government and the Yemeni people struggle to restore the state's institutions, deeply appreciating Japanese significant contribution to the humanitarian actions in Yemen.
