Minister of Defense Lit. Gen. Mohsen al-Daeri and the UN Under-Secretary-General for Safety and Security Gilles Michaud and his accompanying delegation discussed here today the latest developments in Yemen and topics related to securing employees of UN organizations in Yemen.
Minister al-Daeri welcomed the visiting delegation in Aden, and appreciated the UN humanitarian and developmental works in various circumstances in the country, stressing his ministry's preparedness in coordination with the relevant security authorities to protect and secure UN organizations to ensure their safety and tackle all obstacles in order to facilitate the performance of their duty successfully.
