The General Authority of Civil Aviation confirms the need to obtain prior authorization to enter Yemen's airspace The Civil Aviation and Met. Authority, in the temporary capital Aden, confirmed that airlines, international organizations and operators must obtain a prior flight permission from the Authority to enter the airspace of the Republic of Yemen, as it is the official civil aviation authority of the country.

Ministerial team discusses with international delegation supporting development, investment in Yemen

A ministerial team discussed Tuesday with a high-ranking international delegation from World Bank and International Finance Corporation enhancing cooperation between the two parties in fields of priority like energy, agriculture and investment.

Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Waed Batheeb and Minister of Electricity and Energy Manea bin Yameen represented the ministerial team of Yemen's party and Regional Director of the International Finance Corporation Aqtab Ahmad and Director of the Corporation and the World Bank in Yemen Dina Abu Ghaida'a represented the international delegation party.

The meeting touched upon supporting efforts of reconstruction and economic development in Yemen. It confirmed importance of enhancing coordination and cooperation mechanisms between the parties to realize the admirable development objectives and promoting public services to Yemeni citizens.

Minister Batheeb confirmed the government's keenness on making reforms needed for improving works environment and attract more foreign and local investments, praising efforts of the international corporation and its expertise in this field.

For her part, the director of the Corporation and the WB office in Yemen confirmed commitment of the foundation to continue its support to Yemen in this difficult stage and supporting reconstruction and development in Yemen to help realize stability in the country.
