Member of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) Brigadier General Tariq Saleh arrived today, Tuesday, in the British capital London on an official visit to the United Kingdom (UK).
He is set to meet senior British official to discuss the developments in the Red Sea, peace efforts and Yemen's national interests.
Saleh visit's schedule include a set of discussions with high-rank British officials from the government and Parliament as well as the leadership of International Maritime Organization to explore practical measures to address the problem of the cargo ship Rubymar.
Brig. Saleh also will contribute to a symposium organized by the Royal Institute for International Affairs "Chatham House", it is intended to discuss the UN's efforts in Yemen, events that undermine the peace process and the PLC's efforts to make peace.
Ambassador of the Republic of Yemen to London Dr. Yassin No'man received Brig. Saleh and the head of Yemeni Coast Guards Authority Maj. General Khaled al-Qamli who is accompanying Saleh.
