Minister of Defense General Lieutenant Mohsen al-Daeri discussed Monday with Geneva Call's delegation enhancing awareness of International Humanitarian Law.
Minister al-Daeri made it clear that the Ministry of Defense exerts big efforts to enhance awareness of the International Humanitiarian Law in different military educational and academic establishments and transferring this knowledge to soldiers in different camps and warfronts.
He confirmed easing all difficulties before relevant international organizations and to cooperate with them to enhance awareness of international laws and protecting civilians, pointing out that violations and crimes against humanity are usually committed by Houthi terrorist militia, which does not respect any local or international laws and accords.
For their part, the delegation of Geneva Call reviewed activities and programs sponsored by the organization in Yemen and the government's adoption of a number awareness projects and efforts of protecting civilians in armed disputes.
