Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council Dr. Rashad al-Alimi received Sunday in his residence here German State Minister Topias Lendner, discussing with him mutual relations between the two countries, latest developments in Yemen, regional developments and their repercussions on international security and peace.
President al-Alimi praised the deep-rooted relations between the two friendly countries and Germany's position towards Yemeni people and their constitutional legality in different levels.
He expressed aspirations of the Presidential Leadership Council and the government for greater role for the Federal Republic of Germany in bringing peace to the people of Yemen and achieve their aspirations of regaining state institutions, security and stability and development.
The meeting touched upon Houthi militia's terrorist attacks on maritime shipping and their disastrous implications on humanitarian, economic and security domains of the peoples of the region and of the world as a whole.
