Yemen's newly appointed Prime Minister Dr. Ahmed bin Mubarak received a phone call from the Arab League's Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul Gheit today congratulating him on winning the Presidential Leadership Council's confidence to lead the government.

Aboul Gheit expressed wishes of success for bim Bmubarak as he performs his duties and leads Yemen's transformations toward realizing the Yemeni people's dreams in security and prosperity.

Aboul Gheit expressed the Arab League’s deep interest in supporting bin Mubarak's government as it pursues realizing the Yemeni people's aspirations and the Presidential Council as it seeks to restore Yemen's state institutions back from Houthi putschists.
