Governor of Aden Ahmed Lams and the UNDP project coordinator Najm al -Din Saif discussed here today possible ways to establish a number of desalination plants in Aden.

The meeting touched on the projects to be implemented during the future stage to address the challenges facing the water and sanitation sector in light of the increasing population density Aden.

Lamlas stressed the need to prepare the necessary studies for the project, taking into account the environmental effects that may result in these stations and agreement to identify the sites of the stations, taking into account the distribution of water to the districts to meet the needs of the local community.
