The Republic of Yemen welcomed the decision announced by the International Court of Justice, and the measures it included to end the human tragedy in the Gaza Strip.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement "This represents a victory for justice represented by the Palestinian cause, and an important step towards putting an end to the daily violations and crimes practiced by the Israeli occupation forces."
The statement renewed the call for an immediate ceasefire, and the firm position of Yemen in supporting the legitimate aspirations of the Palestinian people to establish their independent Palestinian state in accordance with international conventions and resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative.
