Advisor of the Minister of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs Jamal Awadh received Monday here credentials of Resident Representative of the United Nations for Women Dina Zurba.
Awadh praised fruitful cooperation between Yemen and the UNWOMEN, including issues of woman and developing her role in the society, as well as enabling her politically and economically and active participation in social issues.
He confirmed government keenness on taking care of woman in different domains. He uttered readiness of the ministry of foreign affairs on providing facilitations the UN official to make her tasks successful.
For her part, Zurba thanked the ministry of foreign affairs for taking care of woman's issues and projects of improving her and including her in public life as the second half of the society.
She confirmed significance of coordinating efforts to ensure meeting of woman's needs.
