Deputy Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Dr. Nizar Basuhayb has discussed with the Deputy Humanitarian Coordinator of the UN in Yemen Diego Zorrilla the joint action plan between the government and international organizations for the coming period and the extent of aligning donor support according to the priorities of national sectors.
The meeting touched on a number of topics related to the humanitarian situation and the impact of reducing aid on the implementation of projects, and the level of preparation for holding a joint meeting to discuss the Humanitarian Response Plan for the year 2024, scheduled to be held next Thursday, with the participation of relevant sectors.
The meeting stressed the importance of the existing partnership between the Ministry, United Nations organizations and active partners, which contributes to the success of the upcoming humanitarian and development response projects in all Yemeni governorates.
