Minister of Public Health and Population Dr. Qasim Buhaibeh discussed with the Country Director of the John Snow Inc Eric O’Gara a number of issues related to health affairs, the organization’s intervention in the health sector, support for midwives in health institutes, reproductive health, and planning and implementing a number of supporting activities

The Minister praised the role played by the organization and the levels of joint cooperation and work as one team... stressing the necessity of raising the levels of coordination, partnership and joint planning in accordance with the actual needs of the ministry... noting that the ministry had completed preparing the strategies for reproductive health and midwives.
