The government of Yemen has said it follows up very closely the military escalation in the country and the south of the Red Sea, the most recent one was the recent military operation, which comes as a retaliation to Houthi terrorist militia's continuous targeting and threatening of safety of international navigation in the Reds Sea and Bab al-Mandab.

The militia implements orders of the Iranian regime and serves its agenda in the region at the expense of the Yemeni people's interests, said the government in a press release on Friday.

The government reconfirmed that it has the sovereign right in enhancing safety and security of the Red Sea and the subsequent stability of the region and the world and that the ideal way in this regard can achieved only by regaining the institutions of the legitimate state.

The release added:" While the government holds Houthi militia responsible of dragging the country into an area for military confrontation for propaganda purposes under misleading claims that have nothing to do with supporting our brothers in the occupied Palestine, it reminds that some policies of the international community towards the situation in Yemen have contributed in keeping and enhancing the control of this militia and encouraged it commit more hostile acts, which now pose a threat to the security and stability of the whole world.

The government renewed its firm position supporting the just Palestinian issue and demands the stop of the Israeli brutal aggression in the occupied territories and speeding up delivery of humanitarian assistances to the Palestinian people.
