Agriculture Minister, UNDP discuss cooperation in fishery sector

Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation and Fishery Salim al-Soqatari met held discussions today, Monday, in the transitional capital Aden with Director of the UNDP in Yemen Abdel Monaem Mostafa over the UNDP's interventions and projects in fishery.
They discussed practical steps to carry out the project aims to rehabilitate fishing harbor in the District of Attawahi. The project is funded by the German Development Bank with total amount $35 million.
The discussions also touched upon the Fishery Farms Project in the Arabian Sea and Red Sea, which designed to overhaul 8 unloading fishery centers in several governorate. The project is funded by the World Bank.
