Yemen's permanent representative to the Arab League Ambassador, Riyad Omar Al-Akbari participated in in the meeting of permanent delegates held today at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Arab League in the Egyptian capital to commemorate the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People.
Ambassador Al-Akbari stressed in a speech at the meeting that the criminal violations committed by the Israeli occupation against the Palestinian people necessitate international justice mechanisms and the intervention of the International Criminal Court to hold this occupation entity accountable for all the crimes it commits, as a necessary step to end the suffering of the Palestinian people that has continued for more than 75 years.
Ambassador Al-Akbari pointed to the true roots and background of the tragedy of the occupation and the suffering of the Palestinian people represented by the occupation’s approach to annexation and confiscation of Palestinian lands, building colonies and outposts, and its practice of the ugliest types of aggression and murder against the Palestinian people and attacks on Islamic and Christian sanctities, and the accompanying terrorism of extremist settlers and those protected by them.
