Prime Minister Dr. Ma'een Abdulmalik received today, Monday, in the transitional capital Aden Ambassador of the Royal Netherlands to the Republic of Yemen Jennette Seppen.
Dr. Ma'een conferred with Seppen over a range to of topical issues including Yemeni-Dutch bilateral relations and cooperation, developments in the national scene, Saudi and Omani mediation and good offices to resume the political process in Yemen and the required international support for the internationally recognized Yemeni government's efforts to restore the state's institutions , eliminate Houthi militias' coup.
The Prime Minister reiterated the commitment of the Presidential Leadership Council and the government to deal constructively with the ongoing regional and international efforts to establish peace, end the Yemeni people's suffering.
Ma'een renewed Yemen's condemnation of the Israeli occupation forces' annihilation war and genocides against the Palestinian people in Gaza Strip, affirming Yemen's steadfast support for the Palestinian people's legitimate rights to establish its independent state with the Eastern al-Quds as its capital.
The Dutch Ambassador reaffirmed her country's support for the Yemeni people to achieve peace, confirming the continuation of her government's support for the Yemeni government with technical, humanitarian and development assistances.
Seppen noted that the priorities of Dutch assistances in Yemen given to support health, particularly reproductive health, urgent relief and the programs to improve the situation of women and children.
