Minister of Public Health and Population, Dr. Qasim Bohaybeh, inaugurated in the temporary capital, Aden, today the World Antimicrobial Resistance Awareness Week, which is implemented by the Therapeutic Medicine Sector of the Ministry of Health.
The event, which lasts until the 24th of this month, includes awareness-raising activities and scientific lectures on antimicrobials targeting health personnel and the community.
The Minister of Health affirmed the Ministry's interest in this vital and important issue, which constitutes one of the biggest dilemmas facing the world, pointing out the necessity of adhering to standard conditions during medical practices, achieving the comprehensive concept of safe food and water, and taking into account the commitment to prescribing antibiotics when needed, in the amount needed, and the patient taking the full dose.
