CBY Governor: IMF Statement reflects renewed institutional engagement with the international community
Governor of the Central Bank of Yemen Ahmed Ghaleb has said that the International Monetary Fund (IMF) statement on the conclusion of Article IV consultations with the Republic of Yemen reflects an important return to institutional engagement with the international community after a long period of interruption, welcoming the content of the statement.

Member of the Presidential Leadership Council General Aidrus al-Zubaidi received Saturday Charge D'Affairs of Chinese Embassy in Yemen Shaw Cheng.
The two parties discussed latest political developments aiming at ending the war in Yemen and regaining order in the region, as well as exerted efforts by brothers in the Saudi-led Arab Coalition and the international community.
Al-Zubaidi confirmed support of the Presidential Leadership Council to efforts exerted by brothers and friends to end the war in Yemen and regaining stability of the region. He expressed aspirations of the Presidential Leadership Council for greater Chinese role in pushing peace efforts forward.
He also praised the role of China in supporting Yemen in its ordeal, praising Chinese humanitarian support to Yemeni people.
For his part, the Chinse diplomat renewed position of his country's government for supporting different efforts on regional and international level for stopping the war and commencing inclusive political process for sustainable peace in Yemen and the region.
