Minister of Oil and Minerals Dr. Saeed al-Shammasi discussed Monday with Libyan Ambassador to Yemen Edris Bubakr cooperation in oil and gas fields.
Minister al-Shammasi pointed out to the mutual relations between the two brotherly countries, touching upon investment opportunities and importance of activating them in field of oil and gas exploration and mining for serving interests of the two countries.
For his part, the Libyan ambassador praised deep-rooted relations between the two countries and his country's firm position supporting the legitimacy in Yemen, efforts of realizing peace in Yemen and importance of enhancing cooperation and coordination between the two countries in oil and gas fields.
After the meeting, Minister al-Shammasi phoned his counterpart Miniter of Oil and Gaz of Libya Engineer Mohammad Awn, discussing with him cooperation and investment opportunities.
Al-Shammasi extended an invitation to his Libyan counterpart to visit Yemen to discuss issues of common concern.
