His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, along with the Council's members Aidarous al-Zubaidi, Tariq Saleh, Abdurhman al-Mahrami and Dr. Abdullah al-Alimi met on Wednesday with His Royal Highness Prince Khalid bin Salman Minister of Defense in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
During the meeting they discussed the latest developments about the Yemeni situation and the joint efforts to push the peace process.
President al-Alimi and the members of the Presidential Leadership Council highly appreciated the supportive stances of the Kingdom in support of the Yemeni people including its proposals and continuous efforts to renew the truce and launch an inclusive political process guided by the UN.
President al-Alimi also deeply appreciated the humanitarian and development interventions of the Saudi Arabia in different fields.
The Saudi Minister of Defense reiterated the Kingdom's support for the Presidential Leadership Council and its encouragement to the Yemeni parties to reach a comprehensive and sustaible political settlement to put an end of the Yemeni crisis under the auspices of the UN to achieve security, peace, stability and development in Yemen.
