Aden – Saba
The Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism, Muammar Al-Eryani, affirmed that the position of Yemen’s “leadership, government and people” was, is and will remain with the Palestinian cause and supports the struggle of the Palestinian people to achieve their legitimate aspirations to restore their land and declare their free and independent state with holy Al-Quds as its capital, in accordance with the international resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative.
Muammar Al-Eryani said that this firm and principled position has not changed with the change of presidents and governments and the fluctuation of the political situation, and it does not accept compromise, detraction or skepticism throughout the stages of the conflict, the government and the Yemeni people have provided support and solidarity with the resistance movements and the Palestinian people as their first and central cause, even decades before the Khomeini Revolution in Iran, the birth of Hussein Al-Houthi, and the emergence of the Houthi militia.
Al-Eryani pointed out that the attempts of the Houthi militia, since its inception, through its coup against the state, and ending with recent events, to outbid the positions of Yemen and the Yemenis on the Palestinian issue, and to exploit developments in the Gaza Strip to arm and mobilize fighters, recruit children, and collect donations, and to employ them in perpetuating the Yemeni crisis and coup and carnage in Yemen, are acts of cheap exploitation and trafficking a terrorist militia that that has done nothing for the Palestinian cause except empty slogans.
