Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, Dr. Waed Badhib, participated in the 108th meeting of the Development Committee of the World Bank Group and the International Monetary Fund in the Moroccan city of Marrakesh today.
During the meeting, Minister Badhib stressed Yemen’s commitment to continuing to work closely with the World Bank Group to help achieve sustainable development and peace in Yemen. He also stressed the importance of the Bank’s support for priority areas such as food security, health care, education, infrastructure development, and institution building, as well as the importance of continuing to increase investments in Yemen to help overcome the devastating effects of the war in the country.
