The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development signed Thursday a Grant Agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) worth $1.2 million to contribute to the rehabilitation and maintenance of homes for displaced persons in Yemen.

Central Bank participates in Arab forum on financial solutions

The Central Bank of Yemen participated Wednesday in the activities of Arab Forum for Communications and Financial and Digital Solutions by a delegation headed by Deputy Governor of the Central Bank Mohammad Banagah.
The forum discusses in two days- with participation of a number of Arab ministers and officials- a number of researches and workpapers associated with telecommunications and information technology, Arab accomplishments, challenges, future horizons and the role of the Arab woman in this field.
On the sidelines of the forum works, Banagah discussed with the Chairman of the Arab Organization for Administrative Development of the Arab League Dr. Nasser al-Qahtani mutual relations and cooperation between the two parties.
