Minister of Water and Environment Tawfeeq al-Sharjabi discussed Sunday with the official of UN-Habitat in Yemen Dr. Mohammad Aidrus promoting mutual cooperation and mechanisms of coordination in planning and implementing projects in water and environment sectors.
The meeting discussed accomplishment in finalizing the study are being made by HABITAT with financing from the green environment regarding studying flexibility and capability of facing environment changes and means of tackling adapting climate measures of irrigation establishments and water resources in Delta Abyan.
Minister al-Sharjabi confirmed necessity of joint work for facing climate and environment changes and enhancing the ministry's capabilities and concerned bodies in making plans and programs on dealing with programs and plans on how to deal with climate changes.
