Emergency vaccination campaign in Marib targets 93 thousand children

Deputy Governor of Marib Dr. Abd-Rabu Miftah, along with Director of Public Health and Population Office here, launched Saturday the emergency vaccination measles and rubella campaign with financing from World Health Organization and UNICEF.

The six-day campaign targets vaccinating 93 thousand children under five against measles and rubella. The campaign is carried out by 236 health fixed team and moving team including 536 health workers.

The campaign is accompanied by social awareness campaign is being carried out through different media means, in addition to distributing brochures and awareness banners.
