Deputy Governor of Marib Dr. Abd Rabbuh Miftah, and the Deputy Director of the Executive Unit for the Management of IDPs Camps, Dr. Khaled Al-Shajni, opened today in the City district the third IDPs camp, and the alternative classrooms project for schools, which were provided by the Pure Hands Organization at a cost of $406,000.
The residential camp for the displaced was opened in the Al-Jafina Alawi camp, which includes 50 permanent housing units made of popular concrete construction, a large mosque, and sanitation services, at a cost of $233,000.
The deputy governor also inaugurated alternative classrooms at Arwa Basic Secondary School for Girls in the Airport Neighborhood, east of Marib city consisting of prefabricated caravans that the organization provided to the school, which number five classrooms, in addition to school administration and sanitation, with furnishing and equipment.
