Jawf Governor discusses with German Ambassador displaced people's needs

Governor of Jawf General Hussein al-Awadhi discussed Thursday with German Ambassador to Yemen Hubert Jager mechanism of implementing the humanitarian and service needs in the province.

The meeting touched upon priorities of the province's needs, which included food and shelter assistances to the displaced people, health services and means of transporting water and qualifying wells.

General al-Awadhi praised the role and efforts of Germany in financing programs related to displaced people and accomplishing service and developmental projects in different provinces.

He confirmed keenness of the local authority of Jawf on providing all facilitations needed for implementing projects financed by Germany and other friendly countries.

For his part, the German Diplomat confirmed continuous support of his country to provide more support in humanitarian field to the people of Jawf in the forthcoming period.
