National Committee for Investigations into Alleged Violation of Human Rights (NCIAVHR) met today, Tuesday, in Geneva with the Director of the Office of the High Commission for Human Rights (HCHR) in the Middle East and North Africa Dr. Mohammed Nassoar and the Technical Director and Operations in the Office of the HCHR Cristian Salazar.

During the meeting, which came within the visit of the NCIAVHR to Geneva and its participation in the discussions of the 54th Session of the Human Rights Council, the role and activities of the NCIAVHR were discussed.

The conversations also touched upon the technical support provided by the Human Rights Council to the NCIAVHR through the HCHR.
