Minister of Defense (Lt Gen) Mohssen Ada'iri held discussions today, Sunday, in Aden with the visiting delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) led the by the Regional Director for the Middle East and North Africa Fabrizio Carboni and the Head of ICRC's Mission in Yemen, Daphnee Maret.
General Ada'iri highly praised the ICRC's significant interventions and contribution to the humanitarian actions in the different Yemeni regions, appreciating its key role in fulfilling the prisoner-exchange deals.
The conversations touched upon the Houthi militias' grave violations of human rights including planting landmines and exercising blackmailing over the file of the detainees.
The Minister promised every necessary support to help the ICRC doing its jobs easily.
