Yemen participated in the International Horticultural Expo 2023, in the Qatari capital, Doha, with a delegation that included the Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation and Fisheries, Salem Al-Soqatri, and the Minister of Water and Environment, Engineer Tawfiq Al-Sharjabi.
Yemen participates in the exhibition, held under the slogan “Green Desert, Better Environment,” with a pavilion, a garden, and various activities that highlight the vast biological, agricultural, climatic, and cultural diversity of Yemen.
Yemeni agricultural products will also be displayed during the activities of the first exhibition of its kind in the Middle East and North Africa, and the Yemen Pavilion will present an expanded program during the period from September 2023 to March 2024, to exchange experiences and enhance experiments and innovative solutions to mitigate the severity of desertification, adapt to climate change, and market Yemeni agricultural products.
