Members of the National Commission to Investigate Allegations of Human Rights Violations discussed with the advisor to the UN Envoy to Yemen the role of the process of documenting and investigating human rights violations in building a comprehensive and effective peace based on the participation of victims and ensuring their legal rights.

In the meeting, the advisor explained the importance of the work of national mechanisms working with documentation and accountability in establishing the basics of an effective peace process that guarantees the rights and participation of all components, including civil society, women and victims, in addition to the parties.

She also reviewed the committee’s work mechanisms and the components of the legal file.
