Parliament Speaker Sheikh Sultan al-Barakani discussed Monday with Charge D'Affaires of Chinese Embassy in Yemen Chaw Ching mutual relations between the two countries and efforts aiming at realizing peace.
Al-Barakani congratulated Chinese people on their National Anniversary, expressing pride of passing 67 years on establishing the Yemeni-Chinese diplomatic relations amid exchanged keenness of deep-rooting joint relations and promoting cooperation aspects between the two countries.
He praised Chinese role in supporting Yemen's stability and keenness on Yemen's unity and territorial safety, renewing confidence on Chinese role on exerting pressure on Iran to stop its destructive agenda in Yemen and stop its blatant interferences in the country.
For his part, the Chinese diplomat praised deep-rooted relations Chinese-Yemeni relations, confirming his country's firm position supporting Yemen's security and security and support to the legitimacy for reaching permanent peace solution, working on ending suffering of Yemeni and limiting humanitarian deterioration.
He expressed his country's appreciation to Yemen's position supporting Chinese issues, confirming readiness of his country's government and Chinese companies to contribute in reconstruction in Yemen.
