Leadership Council chairman praises institutional approach of Al-Mahra University

President Dr. Rashad Muhammad Al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, met today, Sunday, with the rector of Al-Mahra University, Dr. Anwar Kalshat, and leaders and faculty members at the university in the presence of senior state and local officials.

The chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council was briefed by the r3ector of Al-Mahra University and the deans and heads of departments in the college about the development witnessed by the emerging university during the last period, and the government interventions required to fulfill its academic tasks in various disciplines.

In the meeting, His Excellency the President praised the successes achieved by Al-Mahra University during a short period of its establishment, stressing the importance of the university's focus on qualitative specializations, and attracting the best academically and administratively creative talents capable of productivity under the conditions of war imposed by the Houthi militia supported by the Iranian regime.

The President of the Presidential Leadership Council stressed the keenness of the Council and the government to enhance the role of academic institutions in the battle of awareness, alongside the modern state that meets the aspirations of all Yemenis.
